About

I'm Josie, a Quilter, Multi-Media Artist.  As a young adult I spent a lot of time sewing for myself and family members.  In 2004 I started quilting as a means of working more with fabric and colors.  At times, I combine quilting with beading, embroidery, and most recently developed a love for knitting.

In the last few years I have also spent a lot of time developing a new passion called Nuno felting which combines fiber with silk to produce lightweight lovely works of art that can be worn, or used as an accessory.  There are endless possibilities with Nuno felt which I'm still exploring and developing along the way. 

Armed with years in the fashion industry and endless creativity, I continue to produce beautiful and colorful works of art under "Josie's Colourful Journey".
