This is an exhibit I had been planning to attend for months. My friend, Dayanne (http://www.dayannedanier.com) and I decided to go yesterday after our shopping trip in the #fashion district for trims and supplies.
Never imagined the splendor of the exhibit until we stepped off the elevator at the #MET(
metropolitanmuseumofart) yesterday into this dimly lit room on the 1st floor of the MET. It felt as though we were entering a fabulous event with exquisite ball gowns everywhere. Charles James was truly a genius at constructing ball gowns. They reminded me of sculptures, and also very #architectural in a way I had not seen before. The use of the video animation added another dimension that was brilliant. If you have not seen this exhibit you still have until 8/10 to check it out. Below are some of the few shots I took.
